the 3-point hitch on my JD 955 compact won't go down after the engine is warm, even with the weight of a 72" belly mower on it. once the machine has cooled down it will drop normally.I've changed the hyd.fluid and tried adjusting the flow control valve. The JD dealer has no idea what's wrong. Can anyone help?

I know you say you have replaced the fluid, have you replaced the filters and checks the strainer. Could be a filter or strainer problem that reacts when the hydraulic fluid gets warm from loosening deposits in the reservoir. I would let the tractor warm slightly, then replace the filter and check the strainer on the hydraulic system. ....
